Time to go Postal once again...

Filed in archive Action by Jordan Grodecki on August 15, 2007

Running With Scissors have just cracked open a whole new level of controversy by announcing the next version of their superviolent Postal series. Built using the Half Life 2 source engine, the game is set to feature even more freedom than ever before, allowing for three totally separate paths through the game; the good, the bad, and the "insane", with each choice you make slightly changing the final outcome of the game.

Amazingly Postal III is set to up the violence even more, by introducing such weapons as the "badgerlinks Saw", fully interactive physics engine, and some new multiplayer modes which are apparently completely exclusive to the game.

Expect media damnation to hit as soon as the game makes it anywhere near the shelves, and various countries to ban it outright, just like what happened with the last 2 games in the series.

Two other screenshots are available on the Postal III website.
