Stranglehold looses grip on release date

Stranglehold, Midway and John Woo's spiritual successor to hard boiled, has been confirmed as delayed by Midway. Originally set for August 27th, the game will now fight it's way onto shelves a week later, November 5th to be precise.

Unfortunately those without top of the line PCs are unlikely to be playing the title, as it's minimum specs look likely to strangle (see what I did there?) even the top end range of PCs. Requiring a massive 2GB of ram, a dual core processor, an ATI X1300/nV 7800 (what on earth? The 1300 is half the card the 7800 is...), and a slightly ridiculous 15gb of hard disk space, this reeks of Rainbow 6: Vegas, a game based on the same engine with absolutely atrocious PC performance.
