StarCraft II Nearing Release?
Filed in archive Gaming Rumors by Jordan Grodecki on November 09, 2007

BlizzPlanet have picked up on a post from Blizzard staffer Enoyls on the World of Warcraft forums, which seems to imply that the highly anticipated sequel to the massively popular RTS, StarCraft, is closer to release than some people might have expected. Below is the full content of his post.
Enoyls: Yes, I'm pretty active during betas on the forums. During Starcraft, War3 and WOW I was pretty active gathering feedback, informing people about changes and explaining new features and philsophy. I don't post on the WOW forums much anymore because Tigole and Kalgan are now the lead designers on WOW. While I'm involved with all the games here at Blizzard, I'm focus the most on the games closest to release like Starcraft 2.
It is easy to get excited about this message, but it could easily be taken in the sense that Starcraft 2 is the next game they are planning to release, even though it may be far off. Here's to hoping, nonetheless!
