In a rather odd twist, it has been announced that the new star Trek game, an online RPG cleverly titled Star Trek Online, is set to take a step toward a more casual system of play.

What this means? We arn't really sure, but if they are doing it to try and attract more people to play, it may not function quite as they like. Generally if you want to play Star Trek Online, you are quite a big Star Trek fan, and would not, normally, fit the definition of casual. You would also not want your game dumbed down for the sake of a few more players. Hmm. We shall see.
