Spore gets dated
Maxis's rather fab looking open ended… evolution simulator has got itself a release date after many delays and even dubbings as "Vapourwear". The day we become masters of our own galaxy and everything in it shall be September 7th.
"The wait is almost over," said Maxis Chief Designer Will Wright. "We're in our final stages of testing and polish with Spore, and the team at Maxis can't wait to see the cosmos of content created by the community later this year."
We certainly can't wait either! I do hope that the amount of freedom is as grand as it has been suggested; I can't wait to create my own race of 3 legged frogs with giant teeth….
