As I said I would, here are the first details and screenshots from the upcoming Sims 3 by EA. As expected changes to the core gameplay are going to be rather small, with features like full free roaming of the neighbourhood added, and a "better" create a sim mode, which allows more customization. The more exciting thing though, is the promise of unlimited customization of everything; allowing you to paint your own textures, create your own objects, and all sorts, from within the game interface, rather than hard to use third party tools.
