Atari has just announced that the 3D action role-playing game Silverfall has arrived at retailers across North America. Silverfall places the player in the middle of a massive struggle between science and nature in order to save Silverfall from total destruction.

Developed by Monte Cristo Games, Silverfall retails for a suggested price of $39.95
Silverfall offers a character-building system which allows players to develop distinctive characters such as scientist troll magicians, elemental elf warriors, or mercantile goblins. The game should provide a 25-hour main quest, numerous side quests, and two multiplayer modes (both competitive and co-operative). Furthermore, the game includes a map editor, allowing fledgling levels designers a chance to create their own adventures.
