If you're one of the millions of Diablo fans eagerly awaiting a sequel, then you know that Diablo 3 is still a long ways off. Luckily for us, Sacred 2 attempts to fill that void quite nicely. Developed by Ascaron Entertainment, Sacred to is the sequel to one of more enjoyable Diablo clones to come out in recent years .

While i think that "T Energy" sounds silly, i'm hoping that Ascaron delivers a substantial and polished RPG this time around. Check out the screens for a look at one of the character races, The Seraphim. It reminds me of Angela from the comic book series Spawn, complete with face paint and sexy armor. Sacred 2 takes place in the world of Ancaria, where a force known as T Energy serves as fuel for all magical occurrences across the realm. An angelic race known as the Seraphim presided over the T Energy reserves, eventually reaching out to the race of high elves to share what they knew of the magical force. Since the High Elves weren't as strong as the Seraphim, they succumbed to infighting regarding how to use the T Energy, which gradually boiled over into civil war. Seeing the High Elves in such disarray prompted other groups intrigued by the T Energy's power to push for control. Somehow this corrupted the T Energy, which thereafter crushed the spirits of good will within the land of Ancaria, spawned monsters, and expanded the scope of the struggle for T Energy.
