Sacred 2 GDC Preview

sacred 2 had a presence in this year's game developers conference and IGN had a chance to see what's up in the game's development pipeline. Sacred 2 takes place 2000 years before the original game and will feature improved graphics and gameplay. Ascaron is currently seeking for a publisher.

Like Diablo, Titan Quest, Champions of Norrath or even X-Men Legends, Sacred 2 taps into the instinctual need to hunt, collect, and browse. "It's in our blood to hunt and collect things," said Daniel Dumont, executive producer for the Xbox 360 version. Both the PC and Xbox 360 version will share the exact same content and, like many games, only a few visual details will distinguish one from the other. "The two versions are only one month apart in their development cycles," added Dumont.
