Codemasters have announced their new addition to their Race Driver series, known as GRiD. It has no reference to the recently deceased Colin MacRae in the title, which appears to be a mark of respect which we applaud.

It features the new version of the Dirt engine which is set to apparently reinvent the racing genre, while providing every last detail from the start of the grid to the finishing straight. Sounds like lovely PR talk, admittedly, Codies do have some good work behind them so this is definitely a title to look forward to.
