PC Releases for the Week

The eagerly-awaited release of Bioshock II has kept fans of the first game and the genre in general talking for months. After being made available for digital download last month, it finally comes out in hard form, and has been getting reviews of 8 and 9 out of 10 right across the board.

While the news of its creation let alone release has creepily crept up on us, the rumours surrounding the release of Medal of Honor 2010 were wrong (which is, actually, quite relieving, as it gives us time to deliberate and speculate much longer). It is, apparently, set for release in September. If you need a trailer to prove just how it is, undoubtedly, doing to kick the over-hyped ass of the game it comes to rival (Modern Warfare II, of course), then look here.

Another game to check out this week, for all the RTS fans, is Avalon Heroes. While we here at the Gamers Blog fear the decline of a console which is often so poorly treated by Command and Conquer rip-offs, this is, apparently, a worthy rival to the likes of Civilisation. As soon as we get out hands on a copy we will let you know ourselves.
