GameDaily.Biz is today reporting that VALVe's highly anticipated Orange Box has gone gold and is straight on target for hitting it's lovely 10th of October release date.

The boxset, for those that have been living under a particularly large rock for the past few months contains the long delayed Team Fortress 2, half life 2 (again), Half Life 2: Episode 1, Half life 2: Episode 2, and the fantastic Portal. Pick it up on Steam pre-order or in store, and start having some serious PC shooting fun.
