OMG! Logitech G25 Racing Wheel

The new Logitech G25 limited edition racing wheel is destined to be "The" racing wheel hard core driving and racing fans want. Why you ask? How about a six-speed gated shifter with push down reverse. Not enough? How about a racing pedal set with an honest to goodness CLUTCH pedal! Talk about improving the immersion in racing sims, you can actually heel toe shift with this thing! The G25 also has two high-torque force feedback motors for even more realism. 900 degrees of rotation allow precise control over your game and the 11-inch wheel looks and feels like it's right out of a formula 1 racer. The G25 should be available in October and you should start saving now, it carries an MSRP of $299.99.

Count me in!! I presently use the Momo Force wheel from Logi. It's nice but lacking a few things for sure. The G25 looks to correct all of that and more. Heck, I can probably even use it to teach my daughter to drive manaul tranmission instead of using my '06 Civis Si! LOL Only 2 buttons on the wheel yoke trouble me as sometimes a few more would be handy but there are buttons on the separate gear shift controller. Fingers crossed that pedal feel is improved too. Don't want to have to do the handball brake pedal mod to this one.

Im gonna buy it too. Just can't wait for October! Talk about using the shifer and hell'n'toe technique, leather wheel. Damn, can't wait!

This thing will be attached to my desk the day it comes out, I'll show those guys on rFactor how to really put it in the corner w/o losing the rearend due to downshifting b/c I'll be heel-toeing my downshifts and using a clutch. See you at the finish line, I should be just finishing up my victory dance by the time you get there. Oh yeah BTW, this will be THE steering wheel and pedals to have under $1,000 US. Is it October yet??

Sometimes I think that big companies don,t pay much attention to our(racers) needs. Not so for logitech, they come up with the finest wheels all the time. I can see myself now heel-toeing and feeling those yanks and bumps on the road. I already have a Recaro type seat and adjustable frame waiting to marry them with the G25. Hurry October!!!

In Denmark I just ordered my G25. The company told me that It will be delivered friday september 15. 4 days from now! I am gonna spend the weekend with it. No sleep, no sex, no food. Just DRIVING. Come friday......

This wheel is amazing! thats all i can say, definatly worth the price. And yes, you can double clutch with it!! My little brother is even learning how to on it. This wheel combined with a good raceing sim is the ultimate experiance

I'm really excited, and might be getting this wheel. But I just can't stand it when they say it looks like a Formula 1 wheel! COME ON!! Have you ever looked at an F1 car before, give me a break.

Well this is a fan's dream, i know that in my country are most interested by such racing wheels. My only worry is that they are to young to understand that playing 24/7 brings nothing good.
