New Crysis trailer

Here is the new Crysis Trailer via Youtube. The developers say Crysis is nearing alpha stage which means all the features are complete. If you can run Crysis using DirectX 10, the developers promise "improved image fidelity, more intense atmosphere, and faster framerates." DirectX 10 allows the developers to show more stuff on-screen such as particle effects without a big hit on framerates.

The media that the developers are showing publicly is looking good and all but I want to see actual performance on a different variety of configurations. I hope the engine scales well on older cards as the Half Life 2 engine does.
Will you upgrade to the latest hardware just to run Crysis? I'd love to hear your thoughts.
