IGN has an interview with Cameron Brown, Director and Chief-Mercenary-Liason of pandemic Studios Los Angeles, to differentiate between he 3 announced charcters: Chris, Jen, and Mattias. Cameron talks about what kind of personalities and quirks these 3 charcters have which are basically your heavy weapons, sniper and demolitions expert types.

Two years ago, Mercenaries surprised the gaming community on its way to becoming a break-out hit for Pandemic Studios. Described by some as GTA with more explosions, Mercenaries gave gamers an open environment to wreck havoc. Mercenaries 2, coming later this year, offers the choice to play one of three very distinct mercs. Who you choose to play will greatly determine how you should approach a mission.
