Games Radar gave LOTR BFME 2 a nine out of ten saying "A few months ago, Company of Heroes was a lock for RTS of the year. With Rise of the Witch-king, we're on the verge of flip-flopping. Seriously"
Yahoo! Games gave it a 4 out of 5 praising it: "The definitive Lord of the Rings real-time strategy game gets One True Expansion Pack."
