How Behind Are You?

I swear it seems like I’m always behind. I leave for work five minutes later than I need to and get to work seven minutes late. I walk around with a list of things I should have done yesterday in my hand, hoping to get them done by tomorrow.
My latest time waster is FarmVille on Facebook. I’m not sure it qualifies as a MMORPG. It’s not like there are dragons to kill – just corn to harvest. I have about 50 friends on Facebook who are FarmVille neighbors. I get points by chasing the racoons and crows away from their potatoes and cabbage.
How does a grown man get involed in games like this? And whatever happen to simple things, like poker (and the poker rakeback that comes with it)?
Sometimes I wonder whether Facebook is part of the Oprahfaction of America. I’m setting here looking at Farmville and Mafia Wars. I could be playing poker at a site like Rakemonkey, and even if I lose I’ve got my rakeback…
