Flagship Studios have just announced the pricing plans for their upcoming online action RPG, Hellgate: London. The game itself is completely free to play, but becoming a subscriber nets you a load of extra features which will give you the edge online.

Priced at £6.99/€9.99 a month, the game will offer extra character classes, monsters, raid locations, items, additional character and slash slots, and even new game modes! It also allows clans to be formed, and players to access housing within the game.

All of those features seem to give weight to the idea that the "free to play" version of the game will be nowhere near as good as the full on paid version, and the tag will just be used to draw people in...
