Hardware Tweaking for Oblivion Performance

Oblivion is bringing systems to their knees everywhere. In a quest to get better performance, better visuals and better game play, GameSpot has a nice article on tweaking the game and your system to get the best performance while having to sacrifice the least amount of visual goodies. They even have a list and examples of images showing you what visual niceties you loose by disabling what settings and tested with different CPU speeds and graphicslinks cards. Oblivion fans should check it out.
