Gamespot finally responds to the rumours

As we reported earlier, there has been some big shakeups in the gaming world after GameSpot fired a senior staff member, straight after he reviewed a heavily advertized game in a somewhat negative fashion. The amount of flak the site has got from the gaming community is almost unreal, with organized boycotts being setup, and various parody sites being created.

Gamespot however have responded to these allegations, and have claimed it was a legal dismissal after standard internal review. Make of that what you will.

Note, this isn't really related to PC Games, but I feel it is important enough to be posting.
