Codemasters, Auran Games and the fantastically named GameCock have joined forces to create one of the biggest PR stunts ever to promote the upcoming PvP MMORPG, Fury. The open beta commences on August 28th, with the actual prize giving contests kick off on the 15th of September, allowing new players to adapt and get used to the game.

The $1million worth of prizes to be given away includes goods from sponsers such as Dell and nVidia, as well as gamecards that will be able to be used within the full retail version of the game, set to release on October 9th.
For those not in the know, Fury is one of those following in the ilk of Guild Wars, by being completely free to play, whilst offering an new style of fast paced gameplay, something that has been traditionally lacking from standard grinding mmorpgs.
