First Fallout 3 Teaser Trailer Released
Filed in archive Game Previews by Kevin Codamon on June 6, 2007
While the 2008 release date shown in the video is just a bit longgggggg for my tastes (and probably to most of you Fallout fans, as well), Im curious to see which perspective Bethesda sets Fallout 3 in. Will it be First person/Over the shoulder 3rd person ala Oblivion or the isometric topdown of Fallout 1 and 2? I'm guessing it will be a mix of both with the option to move the camera around but this is Bethesda we're talking about....There are tons of details in the environment that you need a good camera angle to appreciate the scenery...

We're still curious what kind of perspective the game will use. Hines refused to comment when asked, but it seems like the game will take place from a first-person or over-the-shoulder third-person perspective. We're making such a statement based on Bethesda' development experience with the Elder Scrolls series, a first-person RPG, and the rather high level of detail seen in the trailer. To think that Bethesda would hide such elements, such as the bear inside the bus, with a three-quarters overhead perspective like in Fallout 1 and 2 seems a little silly.
