Game Informer has the inside scoop on Bethesda's eagerly anticipated Fallout 3. There are minor spoilers in the huge article but it also has tons of juicy details of the R.P.G. First off is how the game introduces you to the world, your mother dies at childbirth with your masked father at your side. This is the part where you choose your race, sex and appearance. Your father (voiced by Liam Neeson) will then be unmasked and will have the characteristics similar to those you have chosen for yourself. When you are old enough to walk, you are taught the basics of movement and the game world and given a storybook where you can set your baseline stats.



How cool is that? Incorporating tried and tested RPG elements into the character and his/her life sounds terrific, Bethesda sure is pushing the RPG bit further than it did with Oblivion.
