Turning Point, the alternate reality shooter from UK codeshop, Codemasters, has been delayed from it's original November release date into "early 2008" so that the "epic vision" set out for the game can be fully realized.

For those not in the know, Turning Point: Fall of Liberty is set in a world where the Nazis won World War II, took over Europe and are now launching a full scale attack on the US. You take the role of Dan Carson, a New York construction worker turned freedom fighter as you attempt to fend of the incoming nazi invasion. Apparently the game will give a personal feel to street based warfare, hopefully with a character who isn't the American gung-ho stereotype we have all come to know.
