MMORPG
by Jordan Grodecki on October 22, 2007

A free to play game from a big developer? Not likely...but Square are looking to change the mould, with the upcoming US release of cartoony MMORPG, Concerto Gate. Of course, like all "free" MMORPGs, there is always some hidden costs, in this case they come as the ever more prevalent micro transactions, allowing you to buy special items with your in-real-life money.
OnNet USA are bringing the game over to the west, and CEO Kevin Kim says "It is a marriage of OnNet USA's expertise of publishing micro-transaction based games and Square Enix's production of groundbreaking titles. I guarantee you will like Concerto Gate."
The game looks somewhat standard in it's set of features, save the beautiful 2D backgrounds and the "terra-generating" system which allows the land beneath your characters feet to consistently change.
