Electronic Arts LA recently posted a job listing for a sound designer. That in itself is perfectly normal, but one of the pieces of information that was posted alongside it was rather more telling.

The job is to be working on "a next-generation first person shooter game" from "a widely recognized leading sci-fi franchise". An FPS from the makers of C&C? It's not that strange, they made one before, which was BASED on the C&C universe, which is fueling speculation that is what this will be, another FPS much like 2002's Renegade. It could be a number of other things, though...
