Game Hardware

Looking to build a gaming PC this Holiday weekend? Tweaktown has a guide up on which are the best performing pieces of hardware this Holiday Season. From CPUs to your Video card to even essential peripherals such as gaming mice and keyboards, Tweaktown has got all the bases covered. Prices listed were based on Shopping.com's listings.

Be warned though, the article is mostly geared toward the high end and may not be applicable for us normal people. But seriously, one simple technique i use when reading these kinds of guides is to buy an item which is a couple notches down from what has been recommended. For example, Think that 2.67Ghz Core 2 Duo CPU is a little bit overkill? Try getting a slower but still potent 2.0Ghz Core 2 CPU and save some money for other things.
What do you guys think of Tweaktown's hardware choices ?
