Battlefield Bad Company II Release

The amazing Battlefield franchise returns to PC this week with the release of Battlefield Bad Company II on the 5th march, which is already set to be the best FPS action game of 2010 (that is, at least, until Medal of Honor's new take on the whole "modern warfare" thing comes out in November, then it may have a competitor).

You can see a decent video preview here. After watching this, we will reserve our excitement here until playing it ourselves. This is because it seems like the vastly disappointing single-player campaign of the original Bad Company has returned, no doubt to appease the console gamers. While it looks like they have attempted some diversity this time, with warfare ranging from that in snowy to desert environments, it seems the same linear boredom of before.

We have yet to see how it plays online, so fingers crossed they return to the old ways. We'll keep you posted...
