According to IGN's Gamermetrics survey, Assassin's Creed was the most popular game of the recently concluded E3 show. Ubisoft's upcoming 12th century stealth/action game beat out the mighty Halo 3 (second place) and Activision's awesome Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (third) in reader popularity.

It should be noted that Assassin's Creed was the most popular cross-platform title, while Halo 3 was the most popular exclusive. Despite anticipation that it will be one of the three best-selling games this holiday season, grand theft auto 4 was only the seventh most-popular game with our readers during E3. The title's disappointing traffic is likely due to the small amount of information Rockstar released on the game during the show.
The game that saw the biggest improvement in traffic last week was Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. In fact, even though Assassin's Creed isn't bound for the Wii, Nintendo's latest console still received the most traffic overall among the three current-gen systems thanks to the announcements of Mario Kart Wii and Wii Fit.
This data comes from IGN's GamerMetrics service which tracks consumer awareness and interest in every videogame released in the U.S.

Many state and local election officials are encouraging voters to use Absentee Ballots to avoid the long lines and delays expected at the polls on November 4th due to the record-breaking surge in newly registered voters.
Voters in most states still have time to obtain an Absentee Ballot by simply downloading an official application form available through www.StateDemocracy.org, a completely FREE public service from the nonprofit StateDemocracy Foundation.
