Virtual Worlds
by Jordan Grodecki on February 28, 2008

Activision CEO has come out with a rather interesting comment today, telling the world that even if he invested a billion dollars in building a new MMORPG, it would not be able to take on Warcraft. Fair play to the statement....if it was coming from an unbiased source.
See, Bobby Kotick, is part of Activision, who are now in partnership with Blizzard, and thus own the game in some ways. This could easily be a statement to ward of potential newcomers to the genre...
It's not like anything is going to touch WoW anyway, so it's rather inconsequential.
